Application Process (Information)

 

Current application deadline for Spring '11 hiring/testing session:

     March 1st, 2011

Testing days:

     Written: March 10th, 2011

     Practical Evolutions: March 11th, 2011

(If your application has been accepted, you will be contacted and provided further information regarding specific testing schedule times.)

Applications are currently being accepted to fill both current and future Firefighter/EMS positions.  If you miss the above mentioned deadline, proceed anyhow and your application may be considered for future hiring / testing sessions.  Qualifying successful applicants must have the following:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current EMT certification (Paramedic preferred)

- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as shift schedules may dictate.  

Application forms can be found in electronic form here on our website and can be submitted via the email link within the form. Hard copy application forms can also be acquired in-person at, or mailed to the Bella Vista Fire Department main (Station 1) facility located at:
