This fire was started by kids playing with lighters. The
fire came close enough to residential homes to cause some
damage to the houses.
The fire burned several acres and created very heavy smoke in the area.
Some minor damage to a basement door can be seen here.
In pictures above and below, damage to the
plastic sheeting can be seen.
Without any fire department intervention, several
residential structures would have been threatened and
additional loss may have occurred.
