On March 13th, 2009 a call was received by the Police and Fire Emergency Dispatch of a vehicle that had driven off of the Lake Ann Spillway located off Pinion Valley Rd. with a stranded driver and a report of possible injuries and entrapment.  Upon arrival, the driver (sole occupant) of the vehicle was found outside of the vehicle with minor injuries being reported. The driver was transported to NWBC for observation. 

The vehicle had barrelled out of control and off of the edge of the dam-side wall, and nearly clear across the spillway.
